About the PRG

The Phenomenology Research Group at Loyola University Chicago works towards promoting current research in phenomenology. Among the PRG’s aims is the cultivation of a dynamic phenomenology research community in the Chicago region. PRG events bring together eminent phenomenologists and junior scholars within a stimulating environment designed to foster philosophical discussion around classic phenomenological problems as well as new critical avenues emerging in the field. In recent years, the PRG has hosted multiple talks, workshops, and a conference with international leading phenomenologists from the United States, Canada, and Europe.
